Danny Ray Thomas was killed by police in Houston, TX on March 22, 2018. At the age of 34, he was shot by police while having a manic episode in the middle of the street with his pants around his ankles. "I know my brother doesn't carry a weapon. He's definitely not about to fight no cop. Because the similar situation happened before and the cops just approached him, was like, "Come talk to us, let us know what's going on with you." Verbatim, he was like, "I'm just fucked up. My wife killed my kids and I don't know why and I'm struggling. We're going up there to see her and ask her why. But I know if I go up there and try to talk to her, she's not going to get me an answer." So, those are the types of things he was dealing with. And the cop was just like, "Okay. Well, let's just take you somewhere to just get help." He's like, "I don't want to talk to nobody, but I'll go with you." And it's kind of like, "Okay. Well, why didn't this cop do the same thing?" My brother had no weapon. He was not trying to fight you at all. So why?"
